fellow kids of the 80's...

do you remember the commercial that played everyday

of our lives growing up?

"this is your brain...this is your brain on drugs...any questions?"

and some guy was simply frying an egg in a pan.

i think it should be reworded like this...

"this is your brain...this is your brain while trying to plan a disney vacation...any questions?"

and some guy would be making scrambled eggs instead of a pretty sunny-side up one.

i have....
4 books and several printed out blog suggestions for the trip.

i have apps already downloaded on my phone for the parks.

i have discussed suggestions with several people who have gone.

i have memorized the whole map and can tell you where each hotel is.

i feel like i have already been there, even though this will be our first time.

needless to say, the planner in me can ultimately be the death of me.

the constant preparation was beginning to ruin the trip for me.

i want this vacation to be fun and exciting, but the fact is...

planning it as a responsible adult is kind of a buzz kill.

the cost alone makes me shake in my boots.

there is so much to think about aside from the money like:
the rain, the heat, the lines, gay days, food, flights...ect!!!

but...

i finally sent info to a travel agent and got a quote this past weekend 

for one of the dates we were considering.
my husband and i are starting to feel more excited now than scared.

i am hoping once i get there, the kid in me will rule and reign

and the boring, control freak, worrier will stay in texas.

i will learn to lighten-up...that's my plan anyway :)
