when cari was in kindergarten (2 years ago) she had
reading assignments twice a week.
this story from the bible confused her.
after reading this page she was puzzled.
she said, "she didn't even have enough money to buy a husband?"
"wait, he has money!"
i explained that she was not trying to buy a man,
but that she owed him money and he was coming to collect it in his money bag.
then midway through the story she stops to ask another question.
"why do people drink oil?"
i explained that people don't drink oil, but use it for cooking or other things.
